With virtual reality headsets bordering on affordable, sales have been strong in the past few months. But what exactly are people playing?

The truth is that there aren't a whole lot of good VR games out there; Star Trek: Bridge Crew, Chronos, and Lone Echo are more the exception than the rule. But you don't really need to entertain yourself with video games in order to get your money out of a headset like the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive.

As found through data analysis by VRporn.com, adult entertainment is a huge part of the industry, and it's only getting bigger—that's what she said.

In a new infographic published by the site, it reveals that a whopping 60% of VR websites are mature in nature. Moreover, traffic is increasing substantially with time, to a point where it's clear that consumers are using their VR headsets for "fun time" a whole lot, even more than VR games and videos if search traffic is any indication.

The Samsung Gear VR currently leads the pack of VR headsets with the most units sold, followed by PlayStation VR and Oculus Rift. All three headsets have seen dramatic price drops during the past 12 months.
